FAQ's & POLICIES
We all have questions for new things. You may have some questions about counselling and perhaps I can address some here...
I would like counselling for a certain issue, but do not see it on your list. Would we still be able to work together?
I have not listed an exhaustive list of every topic I have worked with and hence ask that clients provide a brief reason for counselling in the contact form. Please do not hesitate to ask me and where appropriate I can recommend other colleagues or organisations.

How many sessions will I need and how often are the sessions?
I would like counselling for a certain issue, but do not see it on your list. Would we still be able to work together?
What can I expect from our initial consultation?
How much is each session and what forms of payment do you accept?
I would like to start counselling, what do I do next?
The length of exploring and processing can depend on the issue brought to counselling and varies from person to person. We can agree on a length of time at our initial consultation and review at a later session.
It is important to note, without having started working together, it is difficult to state how many sessions it will require. However, we can arrange a time frame for the therapy and review after several sessions together. Another option is open-ended work which does not have a set end date and depends on our progress together.
Once an appointment has been agreed upon, we will meet once a week at the same time on a weekly basis.
Clients are responsible for any sessions that are cancelled or missed in order to maintain our appointments during our time together. Clients are not responsible to pay for any sessions I cancel. However, there is a 72 hour notice period and if I am notified before then, clients will not be charged.
